  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and slice apples into thin wedges, then place them in the slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a pinch of salt over the apples, mixing well.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, and melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Evenly distribute the oat mixture over the apples in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 240–300 minutes or high for 120–180 minutes until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving warm, preferably with ice cream or whipped cream.
