Ingredients

  • 2 cans (12.4 oz each) refrigerated cinnamon rolls
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Grease your slow cooker insert with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Open the cans of cinnamon rolls and cut each roll into quarters.
  3. Place half of the cinnamon roll pieces in the bottom of the slow cooker. Top with half of the apple pie filling, cinnamon, and nuts (if using).
  4. Add the remaining cinnamon roll pieces, followed by the rest of the apple pie filling, brown sugar, and melted butter.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 120 to 150 minutes or until the cinnamon rolls are fully cooked and fluffy.
  6. Once done, drizzle the provided icing over the top while warm.
  7. Scoop into bowls and enjoy warm with a sprinkle of extra cinnamon if desired!

Notes

Make it gluten-free by using gluten-free cinnamon rolls. You can also freeze the prepared raw casserole (without icing) for up to 2 months.
