Ingredients

  • 6 cups apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. Peel, core, and slice the apples. Toss with half of the sugar and cinnamon, letting sit for 5 minutes.
  3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, remaining sugar, and melted butter, mixing until crumbly.
  4. Pour the apple mixture into a greased baking dish and evenly distribute the crumble topping over the apples.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Cool slightly before serving warm with vanilla ice cream.
