Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • Maraschino cherries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a greased baking dish, evenly spread the sliced bananas on the bottom.
  3. Evenly distribute the drained pineapple over the bananas.
  4. Scatter the chocolate chips over the pineapple layer.
  5. Evenly sprinkle the entire box of yellow cake mix over the top.
  6. Pour the melted butter evenly over the cake mix layer.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top turns golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Notes

For a twist, try adding nuts or serving with vanilla ice cream!
