  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 stick (½ cup) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream (or 1 tub whipped topping)

  2. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, layer the sliced bananas, drained crushed pineapple, and sliced strawberries evenly.
  3. Sprinkle the dry cake mix over the layered fruit without stirring.
  4. Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the top of the cake mix.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and set.

  7. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream, topping with sliced bananas, fresh strawberries, and chopped nuts. Drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a sprinkle of cinnamon over the fruit layers. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
