Ingredients

  • Large Pasta Shells (12-16 shells)
  • Ground Beef (1 lb)
  • Taco Seasoning (1 packet)
  • Cream Cheese (8 oz)
  • Shredded Cheese (2 cups)
  • Salsa (1 cup)
  • Optional Toppings: Chopped onions, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, sour cream, avocados, cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cook pasta shells until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Add taco seasoning and a splash of water to beef, stirring for 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix seasoned beef with cream cheese until creamy.
  5. Stuff each pasta shell with the beef and cheese mixture and place them in a greased baking dish.
  6. Pour salsa over stuffed shells and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake covered for 20-25 minutes, removing foil in the last 5-10 minutes to brown the cheese.

Notes

These stuffed shells can be prepared ahead of time. Ensure to store leftovers properly in an airtight container.
