Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in the marinara sauce, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning into the skillet with the beef. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until well combined.
  4. Add the tortellini to the skillet, folding it into the sauce mixture, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let it sit for a few minutes before serving hot.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
