  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup bourbon
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, bourbon, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix everything gently until just combined.
  5. Form meatballs (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and create an indentation in each to add cheese.
  6. Seal the meatball around the cheese and place them on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes until cooked through and browned.
  8. Let rest before serving warm, either with a dipping sauce or in a bun.

Serve in toasted slider buns with fresh toppings or alongside crispy potato wedges for a complete meal.
