Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat until it turns golden brown and smells nutty. Remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, buttermilk, cooled brown butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
