Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and flour. Toss until apples are well coated.
  3. Open the crescent roll packaging and unroll the dough. Separate into triangles as per the lines in the dough.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture at the wide end of each triangle. Drizzle with a little caramel sauce.
  5. Starting from the wide end, roll the dough tightly around the filling, pinching the edges to seal securely.
  6. Place the filled bombs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before drizzling with additional caramel sauce.

Notes

These can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for 1-2 days. Reheat in the oven for the best taste.
