Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and smooth.
  3. Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Use a tablespoon to scoop the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and drizzle warm caramel sauce over each cookie.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For a gooey texture, warm cookies in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds.
