Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease your slow cooker with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually mix in the sugar and then the eggs, one at a time, ensuring each is incorporated before adding the next.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add this to the creamy mixture, blending well.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract until just combined.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the slow cooker, drizzle some caramel sauce on top, then add the remaining batter and finish with more caramel sauce.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 2.5 to 3 hours or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool before serving.
