Ingredients

Scale
  • 26 oz frozen cut green beans, thawed
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup dehydrated minced onion
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the dish lightly.
  2. Combine the thawed green beans, the condensed cheddar cheese soup, and the milk in a large bowl, stirring until smooth.
  3. Add the dehydrated minced onion, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese, folding gently until incorporated.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until hot and bubbly, tenting loosely with foil if the top browns too quickly.
  7. Serve warm, letting it sit for 3 to 5 minutes before scooping.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting and creaminess. Thaw the frozen green beans just enough to separate them to avoid a watery casserole.
