  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt then gradually fold into the wet ingredients.
  5. Gently fold in the dried cranberries and orange zest.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
