  • 2 cups Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup Optional: Sliced jalapenos or bell peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Sear chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Layer chicken in a baking dish, sprinkle sautéed garlic and Monterey Jack cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
