Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 bag (11 oz) caramel bits or soft caramel candies
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the batter to create a creamy layer.
  5. Sprinkle the caramel bits and chocolate chips across the surface of the mixture, ensuring even coverage.
  6. Gently use a knife to swirl through the batter, creating a marbled effect.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

Make sure to grease your baking dish well to prevent sticking. Swirling too aggressively can mix the layers too much, so keep it light for a nicer marbled effect.
