Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter with granulated and brown sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; then mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chocolate chips and mini marshmallows.
  6. Scoop rounded balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
  8. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, refrigerate cookies or freeze them.
