Ingredients

  • 2 cups brewed coffee
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin (or agar-agar for a vegetarian option)
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • Sugar (or alternative sweetener, to taste)
  • Optional: Cream for serving

Instructions

  1. Brew the coffee to yield 2 cups for stronger flavor.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water in a small bowl and let bloom for 5 minutes.
  3. In a saucepan, mix brewed coffee with sugar over medium heat until dissolved. Stir in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved (2-3 minutes).
  4. Pour the mixture into molds and cool slightly before refrigerating.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  6. Cut into cubes and serve plain or with cream.

Notes

Adjust sweetness to preference. Try adding flavorings like vanilla or cinnamon for variety.
