Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 oz (225g) pasta of your choice
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat over medium heat, add the chicken, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Melt the butter in the skillet, then pour in the reserved pasta water and stir to create a smooth sauce.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat in the sauce, simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, toss, and serve hot.

Notes

Feel free to substitute chicken with turkey or plant-based proteins. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
