Ingredients

  • 1 package tortellini (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or flank)
  • 46 cracked garlic cloves
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Season the steak with salt and pepper and sauté for 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness is reached. Remove and let rest.
  2. In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to package instructions.
  3. Add cracked garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and gently simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Slice the steak into bite-sized pieces, return it to the skillet along with the cooked tortellini, and toss with grated Parmesan.
  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper before serving hot, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
