Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed, store-bought)
  • 8 oz Brie cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 12 tsp fresh thyme leaves (chopped, or 1/2 tsp dried thyme)
  • 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface until smooth and even.
  3. Cut the Pastry: Cut the sheet into rectangles (approximately 3×4 inches) using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  4. Fill the Pastry: Place a few cubes of Brie, a teaspoon of cranberry sauce, and a sprinkle of thyme in the center of each rectangle.
  5. Twist and Seal: Fold over the pastry to create a triangle or pinwheel shape. Press the edges to seal tightly. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  6. Bake: Place the twists on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
  7. Serve: Let cool slightly before serving with extra cranberry sauce for dipping!

Notes

Unbaked twists can be frozen for up to one month; just bake them straight from the freezer. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
