Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely chopped broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Steam or boil the broccoli florets for about 2-3 minutes until tender. Drain, chop finely, and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Add the egg and mix well.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the broccoli balls spaced apart.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly on a rack before serving.
