Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) melted butter
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish or pan.
  3. Spread the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over the bottom of the prepared dish.
  4. Pour the melted butter over the dry cake mix.
  5. Drizzle the evaporated milk over the mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
  7. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the chocolate chips.
  8. Gently swirl the ingredients together without mixing completely.
  9. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the cake is set and edges are golden.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. The cake can be frozen for up to 3 months.
