Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare your slow cooker: Grease the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix the maple syrup and milk until well combined.
  4. Combine them: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  5. Slow cook: Pour the batter into the prepared slow cooker and cover. Cook on low for 120 to 150 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool down: Carefully remove the bread from the slow cooker and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve and enjoy: Slice and serve warm or let it cool completely to store.

Notes

For best results, allow the slow cooker to do the work and avoid opening the lid while cooking.
