Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 oz) frozen pierogi (potato and cheese)
  • 1 lb sausage (your choice: kielbasa, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the chopped onion and diced sausage. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Add the sautéed sausage and onions along with the frozen pierogi. Gently stir until everything is coated.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crispy top, reheat leftovers in the oven.
