Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 pie crust
  • Optional toppings: Sour cream, chopped cilantro, jalapeños, diced avocado

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey until fully cooked (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and salsa, mix well and let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish.
  5. Pour the seasoned meat mixture into the pie crust and sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  7. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of toppings.
