1 box chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients required on the box)
1 cup shredded coconut (optional)
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup caramel sauce
1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
Prepare your slow cooker by spraying the inside with cooking spray.
Mix the chocolate cake mix with the egg, water, and oil according to box instructions, and fold in the coconut if using.
Pour half of the cake batter into the slow cooker, then sprinkle half of the pecans, half of the chocolate chips, and drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.
Add the remaining cake batter on top, along with the rest of the pecans, chocolate chips, and caramel sauce.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool slightly before serving, warm or at room temperature.
Notes
For an extra treat, drizzle additional caramel sauce on individual servings!
