Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well-blended.
  2. Marinate the chicken in the bowl, ensuring it’s thoroughly coated. Let soak in the fridge for 15-30 minutes.
  3. For air frying, preheat your air fryer to 400°F. For pan frying, heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Air fry the tenders in a single layer for about 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden and cooked through.
  5. If pan frying, cook the tenders for 5-6 minutes per side until browned.
  6. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Optionally, drizzle with fresh lemon juice and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate overnight or customize with other Mediterranean ingredients.
