Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups regular long-grain white rice
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the rice, chicken broth, water, cream of chicken soup, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and dried parsley in a large baking dish.
  3. Mix well to ensure that the rice is evenly distributed and all ingredients are combined.
  4. Place chicken pieces on top of the rice mixture.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 60 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is tender.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

Use a baking dish with higher sides to prevent bubbling over. Check the rice at the end of baking and add a splash of extra broth if it seems undercooked.
