Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 egg, beaten

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine shredded chicken, sliced mushrooms, diced onion, and minced garlic.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together heavy cream, chicken broth, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken and mushrooms, ensuring everything is well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours until heated through.
  5. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Roll out the pie crust and place it over an oven-safe dish.
  7. Pour the slow-cooked filling inside the pie crust.
  8. Brush the crust with beaten egg for a golden finish and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
