Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup mixed dried fruits (raisins, apricots, cranberries)
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, or your choice)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well mixed. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a greased baking dish or slow cooker insert.
  2. Evenly pour the sweetened condensed milk over the crust. Sprinkle the mixed dried fruits, nuts, and chocolate chips on top in even layers.
  3. Drizzle the vanilla extract over the top layer of ingredients for extra flavor.
  4. If using an oven, preheat to 350°F and bake for about 25 minutes until the edges are golden. For a slow cooker, cook on high for 2-3 hours until set.
  5. Once done, let the bars cool completely before slicing them into squares.
  6. These bars can be served warm or at room temperature. Enjoy with your favorite beverage!

Notes

Feel free to use your favorite dried fruits or nuts. For added warmth, you can include ground cinnamon or nutmeg in the crust mixture. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
