Ingredients

  • 500 g boneless chicken breast, trimmed and cubed
  • ½ Tablespoon herb de Provence
  • ½ Tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 40 g unsalted butter, divided
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prep the chicken by trimming any visible fat and cutting into cubes.
  2. Season the chicken with smoked paprika, herb de Provence, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, adding olive oil and half of the butter.
  4. Sear the chicken for about 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Finish with garlic by adding remaining butter and chopped garlic to the skillet and cooking until fragrant.
  6. Final stir and serve the chicken immediately with desired sides.

Notes

Patting the chicken dry helps achieve a better sear. Store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
