Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 to 1 1/4 pounds)
  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown. Remove chicken and let rest before slicing.
  5. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and stir, scraping up any bits from the bottom.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  7. Add the cooked pasta and sliced chicken to the sauce, tossing to coat well.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before seasoning for a golden crust. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
