Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Mix together the softened butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels, then season both sides with additional salt and pepper, if desired.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.
  5. Add the chicken broth to the skillet and scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  6. Stir the prepared garlic butter mixture into the skillet, allowing it to melt and combine with the chicken broth.
  7. Return the seared chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter sauce over each piece.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a serving platter, garnishing with fresh parsley. Serve hot.

Notes

For a smokier flavor, increase the smoked paprika. For a sweeter finish, add more honey. Let chicken rest after cooking to redistribute juices.
