Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz Steak (Ribeye, sirloin, or filet mignon)
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 34 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
  • Fresh Parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Take your steak out of the refrigerator and let it sit for about 30 minutes at room temperature. Pat it dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add 2 tablespoons of butter, and sear the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side until desired doneness.
  3. Remove the steak from the skillet, cover with foil, and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then add grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
  6. Slice the steak against the grain, return it to the skillet with the sauce, and let it soak in the flavors for a minute.
  7. Plate the steak, drizzle with sauce, and garnish with parsley.

Notes

For the best texture, allow the steak to rest before slicing, and feel free to add sautéed vegetables or serve over pasta.
