Ingredients

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until just combined.
  4. Pour the cake batter evenly into the greased dish.
  5. Drizzle the sweetened condensed milk over the top of the cake batter.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded coconut and chopped pecans on top, covering the entire surface.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the cake is firm and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Notes

Best served warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
