Ingredients

  • Fresh Ginger Root (1-2 inches)
  • Water (2 cups)

Instructions

  1. Gather fresh ginger root and water.
  2. Slice the ginger into thin pieces.
  3. Boil the water in a small pot.
  4. Add ginger slices to the boiling water and reduce to a simmer. Infuse for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Strain the ginger pieces using a fine mesh strainer.
  6. Taste and adjust with lemon juice or honey if desired.

Notes

Drink 1 cup in the morning on an empty stomach and another 30 minutes before meals for better weight loss results. Limit to 2-3 cups a day.
