Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) or set your slow cooker to low heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into a greased 9×9-inch baking pan or greased slow cooker.
  6. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or cook in the slow cooker for about 2 hours, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool in the pan before slicing into squares and serving.

Notes
