  • 46 chicken thighs or breasts (bone-in, skin-on for more flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh herbs (optional, such as thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels.
  2. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl, then rub it all over the chicken pieces.
  3. If using an air fryer, preheat it to 375°F (190°C); no preheating is necessary for the slow cooker.
  4. For extra crispy skin, optionally brown the chicken in a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. Place the chicken in the slow cooker or air fryer. Cook in the slow cooker on low for 240-360 minutes or on high for 120-180 minutes. In the air fryer, cook for about 25-30 minutes or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

Marinate the chicken in the spice mix and olive oil for more flavor. Adjust spice levels as needed.
