Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream while stirring continuously and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve immediately over your favorite cooked pasta or dishes.
  7. Garnish with extra Parmesan or parsley if desired.

Notes

Store leftover Alfredo sauce in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
