  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas or applesauce

Instructions

  1. Grease the slow cooker insert with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas (or applesauce) to the butter mixture, stirring until well blended.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined. Avoid overmixing!
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Once cooked, let it cool in the slow cooker for about 15 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
