Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecans (raw or roasted)
  • 12 tablespoons maple syrup (optional)
  • 12 tablespoons coconut oil (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Spices (optional: cinnamon or vanilla extract)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the pecans on a baking sheet and roast for 8-10 minutes until fragrant. Let them cool slightly.
  3. Place the roasted pecans in a food processor and blend for 5-7 minutes, starting at a low speed and gradually increasing.
  4. Once a creamy texture forms, add in maple syrup, coconut oil, and salt. Blend until well combined.
  5. Taste your pecan butter and adjust sweetness and spice levels to your liking.
  6. Transfer the pecan butter to a clean, airtight container. Enjoy right away or refrigerate for later use!
