  • 1 ripe Banana
  • A handful of Spinach or Kale
  • 1 cup Almond Milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • Honey or Maple Syrup (optional)
  • 45 Ice Cubes

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all the ingredients, ensuring you measure out 1 teaspoon of Matcha, 1 ripe banana, and a handful of spinach or kale.
  2. Blend the Base: In a blender, combine Matcha green tea powder with almond milk and blend until well mixed, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the Fruits: Add the banana and greens to the blender. For a creamier texture, you may also add ½ avocado if desired. Blend for an additional 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Adjust for Sweetness: Taste your smoothie and add honey or maple syrup if desired. Blend again for about 10 seconds to incorporate.
  5. Chill It Down: Add ice cubes and pulse until everything is icy and refreshing.
  6. Serve Immediately: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy right away.
  7. Garnish if Desired: Garnish your smoothie with a sprinkle of Matcha or a slice of banana on the rim of your glass.
