Ingredients

  • 1 cup brownie mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • Optional: whipped cream for serving

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix and water. Stir until well-blended.
  2. Grease your muffin tins or use silicone cups and pour a spoonful of brownie batter into each cup, filling them about halfway.
  3. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth. Add the egg and mix until just combined.
  4. Spoon the cheesecake mixture on top of the brownie layer in each cup, filling them nearly to the top.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the cheesecake layer.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheesecake is set and the tops are lightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before drizzling caramel sauce over the top. Serve warm or chilled!
