Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or pepper jack)
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • Garlic powder (optional)
  • Fresh herbs (optional, such as parsley or basil)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the pack of Hawaiian rolls in half, keeping them connected.
  3. Layer half of the cheese slices evenly over the bottom half of the rolls.
  4. Place the top half of the rolls on top of the cheese.
  5. Melt the butter and mix in garlic powder if using, then brush it generously over the top of the rolls.
  6. Bake for about 15–20 minutes until the tops are golden and the cheese has melted.
  7. Allow the rolls to cool slightly before slicing into mini sandwiches.

Notes

For variations, consider adding tomatoes, BBQ chicken, or jalapeños. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
