Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 2 packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, crush approximately 15 Oreos into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter.
  3. Prepare a muffin tin with paper liners or non-stick spray, then spoon a tablespoon of the Oreo mixture into each cup and press down firmly.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  5. Add sour cream and vanilla, mixing until creamy, then add eggs one at a time without overmixing.
  6. Spoon cheesecake filling into each muffin cup on top of the Oreo crust.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until centers are set and a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool at room temperature for 15 minutes before chilling for at least 1 hour.
  9. Sprinkle with reserved crushed Oreos before serving.

Notes

Can substitute different flavored cookies for variety. Ensure to chill properly for best texture.
