Ingredients

  • 2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1 packet au jus mix
  • 1 cup pepperoncini peppers
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  2. In your crockpot, place the beef, then sprinkle the ranch and au jus mixes over the top.
  3. Pour the beef broth around the meat.
  4. Scatter the pepperoncini peppers on top of the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shred.
  6. Once cooked, use two forks to shred the meat directly in the crockpot, mixing it with the juices.
  7. Serve hot over rice, bread, or your favorite side.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days. The dish can be frozen for up to three months.
