Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 regular Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet or white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (optional)
  • Sprinkles, for decoration (optional)
  • Oreo crumbs, for coating
  • Additional melted chocolate (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse into fine crumbs.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the Oreo crumbs with cream cheese until smooth and well combined.
  3. Scoop out spoonfuls of the mixture, roll into balls, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the balls for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Melt the chocolate with optional oil in the microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  6. Let the melted chocolate cool slightly, then dip each ball, ensuring full coverage.
  7. Tap off excess chocolate and place dipped truffles on a lined plate.
  8. Sprinkle toppings on while chocolate is still wet.
  9. Refrigerate for an additional hour to set before serving.
  10. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

Chill hands or use oil to prevent sticking when rolling balls. Freeze for up to 3 months.
