Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • Fresh or dried herbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and grated Parmesan.
  3. In another bowl, combine the melted butter and milk, stirring until well mixed.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, gently folding them together.
  5. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded tablespoons of the batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
  7. Allow the bites to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
