Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh or canned peaches (sliced; if using canned, drain well)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk (whole or 2% works best)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick spray or butter.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
  3. In another bowl, mix the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Gently fold in the sliced peaches.
  6. Pour the batter into your slow cooker and cover. Cook on low for about 2 to 2.5 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Scoop into bowls and enjoy warm, perhaps with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

Notes

For variations, substitute peaches with blueberries, raspberries, or apples. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
